Foods That Cause Body Odor (2)

Posted by Hendra Wibowo on Tuesday, May 22, 2012

body odor problem
Deodorant may be effective enough to cover the odor of the body, but some experts think the use of deodorants too often can give unfavorable effects. Changes in dietary pattern seems to be an alternative for you to reduce bad body odor.

The following are foods you should limit to prevent body odor and bad breath:

1. Dairy Products
Dairy products are also rich in protein, which when broken down in your stomach, causing hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan which can lead to unpleasant odors.

2. Choline
Choline-rich foods can make your sweat smell like fish. Some people, who can not digest these foods easily, "smells fishy". Examples of these foods are eggs, liver, fish, and nuts.

3. Fried foods
Fats and oils in fried foods and fatty foods become rancid over time, and can lead to poor digestion. It also causes bad body odor.

4. Tobacco
Cigarette smoke that mixes with other elements and out through the sweat glands will cause some body odor. Even after quitting smoking, the smell will stay in your body within weeks.

5. Trimethylamine
Some people have a genetic disorder known as trimethylaminuria. In this condition, the body is unable to break down amino acids, trimethylamine, which again produces fishy body odor. There are many foods that contain amino acids, such as seafood, fish oils, eggs, liver, milk, nuts, soy products, and broccoli.

To prevent body odor from these foods, there are several ways you can do, such as :
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Consumption foods that contain fiber and low choline fruits (apples, strawberries, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, pineapple, banana and watermelon).

If you can change your dietary pattern, you no longer need to worry about body odor that has been bothering you. Hopefully useful! Don't forget to follow Beautiful Ala Indonesian on twitter or facebook fan page. Thank you!

body odor problem
Body odor and bad breath is a problem that often affects a person's self-confidence. Many things affect the onset of body odor such as a particular diet, sex, occupation, mood, genetics and drug consumption.

This time I want to discuss the problem of body odor caused by food. The following are foods you should limit to prevent body odor and bad breath :

1. Spices
Spices with a strong aroma when ingested generally will produce sulfur gas that is absorbed by the blood and eliminated through the lungs and skin pores. This causes bad breath and body odor. Examples of these foods are garlic, onion, and curry.

2. Red meat
It took a long time to digest red meat. When food is not digested properly, toxic and malodorous gas is released which is the cause of the smell of sweat. A study published by the Chemical conclude, women judge a man who doesn't eat red meat more fun, more interesting, and have less body odor problems than men who eat red meat.

3. Alcohol & Caffeine
Although the consumption of alcohol and caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate, soda, etc.) has become a habit, by limiting the drink, your body will feel more fresh and odorless.

4. Processed Foods & Junk Food
Consumption of processed food that is too much salt / sugar, flour, and hydrogenated oils will tend to rot in the stomach, thus producing unwanted breath and body odor.

5. Low-carbohydrate
Reduction in carbohydrates causes excessive protein intake. It can help burn fat in the body. However, this process releases ketones into your bloodstream that makes your sweat smell bad.

To prevent body odor, there are several ways you can do, such as:
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Consumption foods that contain fiber and low choline fruits (apples, strawberries, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, pineapple, banana and watermelon).

naturally slim with green tea
Green Tea Prevent Obesity - A healthy and slim body. Everyone will want it, that's for sure. And one problem that many people face today is obesity. Heredity and lifestyle are two things that affect obesity. How to handle it naturally?

If you want to reduce the effects of fatty foods that make you obese, you can try to consume green tea. In a study conducted by researchers at Penn State University found that compounds in the green tea can reduce body weight in mice.

The mice used for this experiment is obese mice. The researchers used two mice with high fat, and both were given the same amount of food. Then one of the mice given the intake of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCC), a compound found in green tea. Apparently, this effectively makes the body weight of the mice dropped to 45%, as compared to other mice.

And not only lose weight, the study also showed an increase in fecal lipid up to 30%. "It seems there are two benefits, first, EGCG helps the body to absorb fat, and second, improve the ability to utilize fat," says researcher Joshua Lambert.

Lambert also said that drinking one cup of green tea per day will get the intake of EGCG, but recent research indicates that green tea consumption had no effect on appetite, and can only slow down weight gain.

aloe vera acne medication
According to the experience of some people, aloe vera is very effective to solve the problem of blackheads, but I myself was reluctant to try it because the smell of aloe vera is quite stinging and unpleasant in my nose. And had also noted that a doctor from Greek in 74 bc mention the use of aloe vera plant to handle skin infections, burns and prevent hair loss. And in 1935, modern medical has been researching the benefits of aloe vera for burns overcome. Since then, many research done to find out the efficacy of aloe vera for healthy skin, including acne treatments and so on.

Gel that is in the leaves of the aloe vera plant has a function as an antibacterial and astringent to neutralize the fat, so it is good for preventing and treating acne. In addition, aloe vera also contains vitamins A and E which are proven can help to nourish your skin.

The use of aloe vera to overcome and prevent acne for not getting worse are:

sauna benefits for skin health
Sauna Benefits for Skin Health - Sauna facilities which usually available at the spa or fitness center proved very beneficial for skin health. Relaxation in the room with steam is believed to make skin brighter.

Here are some benefits of sauna for skin health :

Triggers the production of collagen
According to Dr. Lawrence Wilson, a researcher and author of books on the benefits of sauna, collagen production increases when someone does a sauna. Increased collagen production is a good thing, because it can get rid of dead skin cells and trigger the growth of new skin cells healthier.

Increase blood flow
When doing the sauna, your heart rate can be increased up to 50 percent. Due to this increase in heart rate, blood flow increased by 30-50 percent. The smooth flow of blood makes the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the skin becomes more and more. As a result, the skin will look healthier and fresh flush.

Detoxification
At least 30 percent of toxins in the body can be removed through the sweat via the skin. When doing the sauna, steam causes more sweat out. When the pores open and sweat out of the body, the toxins that are stored under the skin also carried out. It takes at least two minutes in sauna room before the body starts to heat up. Once the body begins to heat up and sweat, that's where the detoxification process begins.

Help fight infection
According to researchers from the Eberhard Karls-University in Germany, sweat contains a protein called dermcidin that can help to ward off bacteria. Sweating during sauna can make this protein as a shield to protect the skin. Some types of bacteria can be resisted by this protein.

Tips
  1. When using the sauna at a public place you should use a towel as a cushion to avoid contamination from previous users.
  2. For pregnant women, people with heart disease, high blood pressure, and people with a certain skin problems should consult a health care professional before using a sauna. According to The Journal of the American Medical Association, using the sauna in the early trimester of pregnancy may increase the risk of neural tube defects, it can harm the fetus.
  3. After the sauna, don't forget to clean the whole body from remaining oil and sweat that stick. After that, apply a moisturizer on your face and body to prevent dry skin after exposed the sauna steam.
  4. Because the sauna trigger excessive sweating on the body, make sure you drink enough water before and after using the sauna to prevent dehydration.
  5. Use the sauna maximum 15 minutes to avoid unwanted effects on the body due to steam heat, like dehydration, weakness, dizziness, nausea, or dry skin.

Use only as needed because these drugs tend to have a strongly effect. After that, leave it for at least five minutes before rinsing.
